MACHINE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

We do both reverse engineering of an existing design or design from a clean sheet. Our machine design engineers use calculations and simulations to get the answers. We do prepare reports and even expert witness reports on your design issues. The first step in machine design is to ask the right questions and make the correct assessments to make a concept proposal to you. Once approved by you, we will go ahead to do the engineering calculations and the 3D CAD designs until you are supplied with a full data set of manufacturing drawings. As mentioned earlier, AGS-Engineering has a flexible business structure that can adapt to your needs. We can work with you in many ways. Here are some examples:

  • We can operate as your outsource arm for design. In this work model we take full control of your design from concept, to proof of concept, and eventually to the working system with data pack.

 

  • AGS-Engineering may function as your engineering consultant. In this work model we would perform on- and off-site services including expert reviews, design reviews, specifications writing, validation services such as engineering calculations and finite element analyses (FEA) and the like.

 

  • We may function as a CAD resource to your company, either externally from our offices, or as an in-house service inside your company.

 

  • We can function as your in-house design lead for a specific project where you need a professional design lead but are not willing to outsource the entire work. This function would span most services associated with this project, including concept development, dividing the work for design groups, requirements analysis and control, budget control, scheduling, engineering functions, CAD functions, and the like.
